Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Marandi Appointed as UT Vice President for International Affairs

In the letter of appointment, Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Moghimi, Acting President of the University of Tehran, addresses Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Marandi as follows:

In light of your unwavering commitment, extensive knowledge, and outstanding expertise, you are hereby appointed as UT Vice President for International Affairs. Without relinquishing your academic duties, you are expected to constructively cooperate with vice presidents, deans, faculties, and all the beneficiaries of the University of Tehran and tap into the human resources network comprised of directors, faculty members, staff, and students, with a view to contributing toward the actualization of ‘Entrepreneurial University’ for the better discharge of its social responsibilities and the improvement of the ranking position of the 'Quintessence of Higher Education in Iran' in the international arena. The foregoing can hopefully be achieved by means of your exceptional expertise in interactive science diplomacy and inter-cultural dynamics. I wish you ever-increasing success in your new position under God’s protection, Imam Mahdi’s supervision—may God expedite His return—and the perspicacious leadership of the Great Ayatollah Khamenei—may God prolong His life.

It bears noting that in a separate letter addressed to Dr. Mohammad Hossein Sarrafzadeh, former UT Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Moghimi expressed his appreciation for Dr. Sarrafzadeh’s meritorious efforts and valuable services.
