At the National Conference, the role of interdisciplinary studies in scientific & Entrepreneurship development of IRAN, hosted by the University of Tehran's Alborz Campus, two professors from the universities of Gothenburg, Sweden and Geneva, Switzerland delivered their lectures.
Professor John Art Scholte from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and professor Frederic Darbellay from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, delivered their speeches at this National Conference through videoconferencing held on November 28 at the University of Tehran.
Jan Aart Scholte is Professor of Peace and Development in the School of Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and Co-Director of the Centre for Global Cooperation Research at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. He spoke on “Interdisciplinary Global Studies: Promises and Challenges” at this conference.
Frédéric Darbellay is Associate Professor at the University of Geneva and Head of the Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Unit in the Centre for Children's Rights Studies. He delivered his speech on “Interdisciplinarity, a complex and urgent issue: Concepts, Institutions, Actors”.
